Organization Overview

Hope For The Elderly is an organization that works with the elderly persons , and intentionally chooses to view the matters of this cohort of people in a wider spectrum .
An elderly person is whom who has attained the age of 65 , according to WHO . advanced age is associated with loss of jobs through retirement , social instability , non communicable diseases and solitude as a result of partner loss . The goal and objectives of this organization are build around improving the quality of the elderly person .

Our Focus

The following form the body of the organization mandate 1. Health sphere :
we are well aware of the various illnesses whose prevalence rise in the geriatric cohort, and particularly the non communicable diseases(NCDs ) comprise majority of this burden . for example , high blood pressure , diabetes mellitus , various cancers , arthritis , heart diseases and mental illness ( depression and stress ) .
  • 2. Social sphere : during our interaction with the elderly persons , we discovered the scarcity of some of the basic social building blocks of a complete human being
  • 3. Resilience and survival matrix : an improved healthcare , coupled with availability of better housing , clean water and standard nutrition this particular cohort of people will be assured of increased life expectancy , quality living and satisfaction .
